The University Eye Foundation is pleased to support the Ophthalmology community with research funding.

Applications are open to ophthalmology medical students, residents, fellows and faculty.

Available funding: 4 X  $2,500 grants.

Objectives

The general purpose of the Research Grant program is to support research and develop excellence in ophthalmic research activities.

The specific objectives of the program are to:

  • Support resident’s research needs tied to their residency training requirement
  • Support research in Calgary that will advance Calgary’s Ophthalmology program
  • Contribute to the development or expansion of new academic or practical approaches to ophthalmic research;
  • Maintain and develop strong disciplinary research activities
